A blog is something I should have set up a LONG time ago, but I can procrastinate no longer! So here is a little bit about me to kick off with. My name is Jennie Milne, I was born in the late 60's and am married with 9 kids. I have lots of stories to tell!
My life is pretty hectic and seems to have grown more and more busy as time goes on. I'm not complaining. 3 years ago I decided to return to education after spending 27 years in the home raising my family. I really kind of 'fell into' studying. Originally the plan was to find a 2 month evening class so that I could learn how to use my camera in manual. I thought that would be possible at a local college, but after learning I would need to apply for a year long NC course in Aberdeen I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. After the interview I found I had signed up to a 2 year HND course, and so my journey began.
I have just completed a BA in Commercial Photography, graduating with a distinction. I could not be more chuffed! I have loved every minute- yes, even the stress, because to be given an opportunity to learn at this stage in life is something I feel very privileged to be able to do.
I love the words of C.S Lewis ~ " You are never too old set set a new goal or dream a new dream". That has been my motto.
